Going through tattoo books can help you decide on the tattoo design in your niche to get you don’t already notice. Getting a tattoo is a semi-permanent thing since you’ll be tied to it for forever.
Yes, you possess your tattoo removed, but many would rather not go through hassle and a painful sensation. Therefore, it’s important to choose something that you’re able live with in a great many years.
I went to a local tattoo parlor last month just to browse through images in some for the tattoo books they’d as I needed to get a tattoo for my special. I’m a late bloomer when compared with my friends put it to use to getting a tattoo. Most of got tattoos once they were teenagers.
I actually almost got one myself when I was 15 but changed my mind because first, I was afraid of discomfort from the tattooing itself and second, I was afraid to get in danger with my dad should he find out I had gotten a tattoo. I’m over 21 now and I’m liberal to decide what I’d prefer to do with my body.
Anyway, I flipped through the tattoo books looking for the perfect ankle tattoo design. I never wear shoes (I either go barefoot or wear flip flops at most), and I thought a tattoo on my own ankle would surely perfect complement to my toe rings and ankle wristbands.
After going via a couple of the tattoo books I felt starting to acquire a little frustrated since i have hadn’t seen a single artwork that I liked. Most of the tattoo designs were either childish or cheesy. I wanted something feminine and cute on my ankle. Something that would represent me for some decades.
I continued thumbing through the pages of the tattoo books and saw a few interesting tattoo designs. Quantity of the pictures looked scary and even hideous although very a few them were rather brilliant, I must admit. However, there was none that jumped out and said “I’m yours!”
I had held it’s place in the tattoo parlor for over 20 min and still we hadn’t decided on what i wanted. Finally, recognized to have the tattoo artists approached me and asked if I need help choosing a tattoo design. He tried to help by asking us a few questions about which I liked, my interests, and even my beliefs.
After going through Q and A trying to master who I was, the tattoo artist, who by the way, was quite an attractive guy, dug through a bit of the tattoo books that I we had not yet had the chance to go rather than. Finally, he picked up a guide and smiled saying, “I have the perfect tattoo book for you.”
So I opened the tattoo book and saw brand new age and pagan related tattoo designs like pentacles, zodiac symbols, moon and stars, and fairies. I thought those were really cool. Finally, we were getting somewhere! Seeing my face light up, the tattoo artist smiled again and stood beside me while I browsed through the designs. He then pointed to a design and said, “I think this particular can look great on your ankle.”
This particular body art comprised a fairy kneeling down on a flower slightly looking up, her long hair covering her chest, a crescent moon and a few stars above her. I almost jumped in excitement as I looked at the beautiful artwork since I it represented me in many ways than you. I’m a barefoot free spirit, just like a fairy, who loves wandering in a peaceful dark night gazing at the moon and the stars which I believe have special power.
I immediately scheduled an appointment that’s not a problem artist to have my left ankle tattooed a couple of days later. It did hurt just a little but not as bad as I’d anticipated. The result was definitely the actual price and the time spent going through the tattoo books. I now have a awesome halloween tattoo on my ankle that I’m really proud .
After seeing my tattoo, my friend and co-worker wanted one too. So i brought her towards the tattoo parlor and we looked through quite a number of tattoo records. It didn’t take her prolonged as to pick a design since I already knew which tattoo books showing her. She thought we would go with a colorful pentacle and fairy tattoo design. Rather than her ankle however, my friend made have the tattoo on her right arm. Now both us are excited to show off our tattoos.
